Birthday Cake #37

Yes this is truly what happens when you are over 35 with two boys at home who don't know how to bake (or buy) a cake. O well. Who could live without Pepperidge Farms? And even with the chance to win (something) instantly!!

None the less, I didn't win anything. It actually said, "Sorry, you are not a winner". Interesting.....I beg to differ.

Hey - a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do. Say, I made the most fabulous vegetable dish last night, you absolutely HAVE to try it. Slice zucchini or yellow (I used zucchini - I think it's a little sturdier) Saute sliced onions in a little olive oil until tender, add zucchini & saute until zucchini is tender. (Here's where it gets really, really good) Sprinkle about a teaspoon of sesame oil on the zucchini when it is ready to be served. Toss the vegetables and serve topped with toasted sesame seeds. I promise you it is absolutely FABULOUS. Once you serve it, everyone will be begging you to make it.

You buy sesame oil in the oriental section of the grocery store. I use it in all of my stir fries. Also, if you can go to a health store and buy sesame seeds and toast them yourself, they're much cheaper.
